U.S. News & World Report ranks TU among top public regional universities

U.S. News badge publicThe U.S. News & World Report 2014 America’s Best Colleges guide ranks Towson University 11th in its Top Public Schools – Regional Universities (North) category, placing it among the best of the 47 institutions surveyed.

The university also occupies 54th place in U.S. News’ list of 189 private and public institutions in the North.

Commenting on this year’s rankings, President Maravene Loeschke said, “Towson University prides itself on being a leader in educational excellence and a model for peer institutions. I know that Towson will continue to rank among the best institutions in the country, and I appreciate U.S. News & World Report acknowledging our achievements.”
