The Towson University men’s and women’s basketball teams will launch their respective 2013-14 seasons this Friday, Nov. 8, when Navy visits SECU Arena for an exciting hoops doubleheader.
First, the women’s basketball squad, under new head coach Niki Reid Geckeler, will battle Navy at 5 p.m. Later in the evening, head coach Pat Skerry and the men’s team will face the Midshipmen at 7:30 p.m., representing the first two intercollegiate basketball games to ever be played in the new SECU Arena.
Free t-shirts and more than 1,000 prizes will be distributed to students and fans attending Friday night’s games. Prizes will include free food and drinks, as well as iPod shuffles and an iPad mini. There are lots of other fun surprises planned, so don’t miss out on the fun, the chance to win and the opportunity to be part of Towson University history!
