Reiner’s article “The Tracks of My Tears: One man’s quest to have male crying be socially acceptable” was the cover story in the Washington Post Magazine, while Schmitz was cited as an expert on the Yemeni group Houthis in the New York Times’ article “Experts See Signs of Moderation Despite Houthis’ Harsh Slogans.”
Reiner’s story detailed his efforts to bring public attention to men’s emotions and how it evolved when he became a parent.
Schmitz shared his thoughts on the Houthis’ rise to power and whether their sources of funding could predict their actions.
