Towson University, the Baltimore Orioles and the American Red Cross have teamed up to help save lives with a blood drive, scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Union Potomac Lounge.
According to the American Red Cross, one pint of donated blood can save up to three lives.
All presenting donors will receive a voucher for one ticket to an upcoming Orioles home game, excluding those against the Yankees and Red Sox.
Donors will also have the chance to enter to win an additional two tickets to another Orioles home game where they will receive special, on-field recognition as the “Blood Donor of the Game.” One winner will be selected each month through September.
