Towson University has launched a new website to complement its alumni magazine, Towson.
With a modern look and unique features, the new site offers readers all the content of the popular seasonal publication—and soon a web extra or two—in a fresh package that is as accessible as it is attractive.
“The new website not only helps us reach a greater alumni audience, but it also gives us the capability to expand the content of Towson to include stories and features that are exclusive to the web,” explains Ginny Cook, editor of Towson.
The site utilizes both form and function to offer inspiring feature stories of student, faculty and alumni accomplishment, as well as magazine constants like “News & Notes.” The site also offers an archive of past issues since 2009.
Additional, online-only content will be rolled out in future issues of the magazine.
Towson has a circulation of over 100,000, and is mailed to university alumni and retired faculty and staff. Some faculty and staff receive the publication via campus mail. The magazine is published three times a year.
