Towson University concluded its 149th commencement exercises with ceremonies for all six colleges Thursday and Friday.
Though smaller than the spring exercises, the ceremonies included every bit of pomp and circumstance the university sees in May, with capped and gowned students wide-eyed and grinning as they walked onto the floor of SECU Arena.
“Don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry,” one student told herself.
2,305 students walked across the stage to get their degrees. 1,645 earned bachelor’s degrees; 652 finished master’s degrees, post-baccalaureate certificates or certificates of advanced study; and eight earned their doctoral degrees.
Towson University sends every one of those students hearty congratulations and best wishes for the future.
