Towson University alumna Kacy Catanzaro is the first woman to complete the qualifying course for American Ninja Warrior Dallas.
In an episode of the extreme challenge reality show that aired on NBC earlier this week, Catanzaro successfully completed all five obstacles—including the daunting “warped wall”—to move on to the next round. She also competed on the show last season, when she made it to the fifth obstacle.
At just five feet tall, Catanzaro was an award-winning Division I all-around gymnast for the Towson team. She graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in early childhood education.
