To help its students, faculty and staff start their holiday weekend off right, Towson University will provide free transportation to a WTMD concert on Thursday, July 3.
The third installment in WTMD’s First Thursday concert series, held at Canton Waterfront Park in Baltimore, begins at 6:30 p.m. and will feature Grizfold, Strands of Oaks and Lydia Loveless.
The free concert series recently moved from its previous site in Mount Vernon to Canton Waterfront Park. More than 12,000 people attended last month’s concert.
The shuttle will transport students, faculty and staff, as well as their significant others, from the campus of Towson University to Canton Waterfront Park. The shuttle will depart from the Union Garage Shelter, outside the ground-level Faculty/Staff area, at 5:15 p.m. and arrive in Canton at 6 p.m., in time for the concert which begins at 6:30 p.m. The concert will end around 10 p.m., and the shuttle will depart at 10:15 to return to campus.
Those who wish to ride the shuttle must reserve a seat. Seats are limited and only available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so early registration is highly recommended.
