Fraternities and Sororities will compete in the annual “Dance the Madness” event on Thursday Oct. 16 at SECU Arena starting at 7:30 p.m.
SECU Arena will be rocking on Thursday night, as the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Athletics will hold “Dance the Madness.”
“Dance the Madness” will take place on Thursday (October 16) at 7 p.m. at the SECU Arena and is open to anyone who wants to attend.
The event was born out of two former events, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life’s “Yell Like Hell” event, and the Athletic department’s annual basketball themed “Midnight Madness.”
At “Dance the Madness,” fraternities and sororities will team up to perform dance routines. These performances will be accompanied by the introduction of the Towson University 2014-15 men’s and women’s basketball teams to the campus community.
The event traditionally has 10 to 13 fraternity and sorority teams participating and performing six-minute dance routines. The winning chapters will be crowned the Kings and Queens of Dance the Madness.
