It’s time to get ready for March Madness, as the Towson University men’s basketball team prepares to make a run in the CAA Tournament, which starts Friday, March 6 at Royal Farms Arena in downtown Baltimore.
The No. 9 seed Tigers will open the tournament on Friday, taking on the No. 8 seed Elon University Phoenix, with tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m. There will be a free pre-game party at the Pratt Street Ale House, but the event does require registration.
It is the second straight season the CAA Tournament will be held in Baltimore, and Towson Head Coach Pat Skerry is thrilled at the easy travel and the short trip for Tiger fans.
“It’s huge that we’re so close to our campus, and it’s a quick drive for a majority of our fan base,” Skerry said. “I would love to see the arena filled with black and gold during all of our games this weekend.”
The Towson University ticket office is offering a special deal for Tiger fans where they can receive tickets to the entire CAA Tournament for just $100. All-Session passes can be purchased here and will be located in Section 105, which can be seen on the Royal Farms Arena seating chart.
Individual Session Tickets can be purchased through TicketMaster, and will cost $50 (Section 105) or $35 (Section 205).
Towson University students also get a deal for the CAA Tournament, receiving a game ticket, bus ride to the game, and Towson Tigers Rally Towel for just $7. Students interested in going should contact Kim Cavanaugh by calling (410-704-5497) or through e-mail (kcavanaugh@towson.edu).
