Tattoo Fest!

West Village Ballrooms
If you’re into ink, don’t want to miss this inside look at tattoo art and culture from Asia and beyond. Experts will reveal how tattoos are made, and you can learn how to create your own tattoos. Plus, there will be opportunities to hear cool tattoo stories and share some of your own. Admission is free for Towson students, faculty and staff with a valid OneCard.

If you want to catch a baseball game without breaking the bank, Student Activities and the Student Government Association have a deal for you. TU students can purchase discounted tickets to watch the O’s take on the New York Yankees. Tickets are $8 tickets at the Union Ticket Office (while supplies last) or $10 at www.orioles.com/tix/towson.

Unitas Stadium
Show your TU pride at Tiger Bowl V, Towson’s annual spring football game. The Tigers compete in an intra-squad scrimmage – the only open practice the team will hold this spring. The Tiger Bowl follows the home finale of the nationally ranked Tiger men’s lacrosse game at noon, also at Unitas Stadium. Feel free to attend both and enjoy the entertainment between games!
“Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”

Center for the Arts Mainstage Theatre Spend an evening with the Demon Barber of Fleet Street in one of Stephen Sondheim’s most-loved works. The musical explores the themes of love and revenge with humor, suspense, music and, of course, pies! Sweeney Todd is presented by TU students under the stage direction of Stephen Nunns and musical direction of Phillip Collister. Tickets are $10 for students and available at the Center for the Arts Box Office or www.tuboxoffice.com.

CAB’s biggest event of the year is back and bigger than ever! All week long, CAB and Student Activities will count down to Tigerfest with activities, free food and giveaways to encourage students to have a positive Tigerfest weekend. Tigerfest kicks off Saturday with a festival on Burdick Field featuring vendors, local talent and student winners from CAB’s battle of the bands, “Bring the Noise.” Sunday will be the headlining concert featuring Krewella and G-Eazy at SECU Arena. Tickets are available now for students at the University Union ticket office. The general public can purchase tickets beginning April 15. Stay tuned to @TowsonCAB for more event info.

TU’s largest day of service, now in its sixth year, kicks off at Newell Field. Student and alumni volunteers will be transported to over 100 nearby service sites to help local homeowners and non-profits. Want to give back? Register before April 3 at towson.edu/thebigevent.
