Towson University alumna Amy Schumer ’03 was profiled in Entertainment Weekly last week in an article that traced her rise to comedic stardom from her undergraduate days at Towson University to her upcoming movie “Trainwreck” – written and starring the New York native – and the third season of her hit Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer.”
An instant hit at SXSW, “Trainwreck” follows a journalist for a men’s magazine (Schumer) who is terrified of monogamy and meets maybe Mr. Right (Bill Hader) on an interview. NBA star LeBron James has a large cameo as himself.
