Black & gold will shine at Saturday’s Ravens-Redskins game

Towson University will be sponsoring the Ravens' preseason game against the Washington Redskins on Saturday. The sponsorship is part of Towson University's 150th Anniversary celebration.

The Towson University Black and Gold will mix with lots of purple this Saturday, Aug. 29. TU will be the gameday sponsor of the Baltimore Ravens’ preseason clash against the neighboring Washington Redskins at M&T Bank Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

This will be the first time the university has been a full gameday sponsor for a Baltimore Ravens game. It is another key local event in Towson University’s 150th anniversary celebration.

The university logo and colors will be visible throughout the Ravens’ gameday experience and marketing materials: on the cover of the game’s program, on the “Ravens’ Vision” video boards, and the stadium stat-keeping video.

As part of its sponsorship, Towson has tickets available for purchase in section 544 for $72. If you are interested in buying tickets, please contact Nick Mello at 410-704-4983 or by email at nmello@towson.edu.

This is just one of many different ways Towson University has brought the spirit of its 150th celebration to downtown Baltimore. This summer, the streets of the Inner Harbor were lined with banners sporting the TU 150th logo.

The Ravens aren’t the only professional team that will see its share of Tiger Black and Gold. Towson will also be taking part in an “O’s Night at Camden Yards” in downtown Baltimore, offering $6 tickets for a tilt against the New York Yankees on Friday, October 2.
