Towson University will be closed on Tuesday and student move-in is now scheduled for Wednesday.
Campus is open on Wednesday with classes cancelled.
The first day of classes for the spring semester is now set for this Thursday, Jan. 28.
The decision to close Tuesday is out of an abundance of caution and because of our steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety of our students, faculty and staff. Our region requires another full day of snow removal work to be certain that our faculty, staff and students can return to campus from all areas safely.
Our facilities and maintenance staff has been working tirelessly to get our campus cleared of snow and have done a phenomenal job. We also appreciate the work of the State and County crews in their efforts to get Towson back up and running. Stay safe and we look forward to having everyone back on campus for the spring semester.
