Learn innovation from the best – Under Armour, Target, Amazon

It has been said that if you want to BE the best, you have to learn from the best. On Tuesday Nov. 3 Towson University students will have the chance to do just that, when leaders from Under Armour, Target and Amazon will visit campus to talk discuss why innovative work environments are important during a panel discussion in PAWS Café from 5-7 p.m.

The panel “Why Do Innovation and Entrepreneurship Matter to Fortune 500 Companies?” is the kickoff event for the Towson University Student Launch Pad and will feature food, networking and fun.

These panelists include:

  • Aashish Tripathi: Head of Business Development for Amazon Launchpad
  • Kevin Culley: Senior Director of Business Development, Innovation at Under Armour
  • Tony Battaglia: Store Team Leader for Target in Bel Air.

The Student Launch Pad at Towson University is a program committed to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation through a variety of programs and activities that are aimed directly at students. To get more information visit their website, or visit their office on the fourth floor of Cook Library.

The event is co-sponsored by the Career Center and the College of Business and Economics. Admission is free, but it is recommended attendees RSVP before the event.
